The law firm Parentoni Advogados is nationally recognized for its specialized and excellent performance in the Jury Trial. In 1991, Dr. Roberto Parentoni handled his first defense case in the Jury Trial Chamber, six months after being licensed by the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) to act in defense of a landmark case involving a father and son, with the son being accused by the Public Prosecutor with three qualifying circumstances. On that occasion, the defense’s argument was accepted by the Jury Council.

Since then, Dr. Parentoni has participated in more than 350 jury trials defending the rights of his clients, with a high rate of success in getting his arguments accepted by the jurors. Some of the nationally publicized criminal defenses, with the office already established in São Paulo, include those of M.C., better known as Marcola (Jury Cases); G.F., known as Chuck (the “Gay Parade” Case); witness N.V. (the “Yoki” Case); the fan “Dudu da Mancha” (the Uniformed Fan Groups Case), the Batista Brothers (the “JBS Group – Collaboration” Case).
In all cases before the Jury Trial, which has jurisdiction to judge intentional crimes against life: intentional homicide, eventual intent, infanticide, abortion, aiding, inducing or instigating suicide, in its attempted or consummated forms, we always work vigorously to ensure the full defense of our clients.
